![]() The gives me the best motion tuned for each car but it is a major pain in the butt because there is no easy way to change all that in SimTools. I typically only need to have 2 or 3 of these for different classes of cars and I use batch files to swap them over. Because the maximum G-forces coming out of each car is so different I like to have a different Min/Max for radically different cars. In racing games I can leave my Axis settings all the same, this is how much range my rig has in total. It would be great if we could find a way of sharing profiles so we could work together to make better profiles.Ĭlick to expand.I use a combination of all 3 to tune my motion. I have no idea how good my profile is or what to expect or how it compares to other peoples profile. I find that is one of the biggest challenges with DIY motion. I would like to see the ability to save different Min/Max settings for each car/track in SimTools, especially for flight sims because I use a totally different setup for slow planes like a Cessna and a fast fighter jet. SimXperience has it easy because they use one design, so that way you know that your profile will feel exactly the same on any SimXperience simulator. ![]() There is so many variables, gearbox speed, lever length, angle of the connecting rods, PID settings, range of movement in the rig. If I made a profile on my rig using 50:1 gearboxes and then sent it to you then it would feel completely different on your 60:1 gearboxes, then it would feel different again on a rig with 25:1 gearboxes. The problem with SimTools is that it is based around DIY rigs. A group of us did that with our Assetto Corsa profile and that profile is really good now. ![]() Being able to share profiles has allowed us to collaborate and create some really cool profiles. I love being able to share my Accuforce settings or download my friends settings. Don’t get me wrong when it works perfect it’s one of my favorite things to do, but that has been few and far between with my experience.Click to expand. That is one of my favourite features of Sim Commander. Too much messing around to get things working in harmony. I didn’t think this investment would be this finicky to driver combos and such or else I never would’ve purchased it. I have top of the line hardware from about a half a year ago and spent a lot of money for it. It’s just costing me a lot of money to troubleshoot the rift. I will wait until the next update hopefully soon and see if that maybe will fix it, if not I will take it back to my computer shop and get evaluated again. I’m pretty sure my USBs are fine they are functional and they all are working properly. Maybe they can cross-reference my logs and the other people’s logs that are having the similar issues and see a similarity. I do know that these problems really got going right after the update though. I sent my support ticket with my logs again but it seems that if you aren’t sure that I’m pretty sure they won’t be either. I appreciate you elaborating a little bit on the subject. Unfortunately, there are so many hardware and software variables, I can't say for sure. Or, it could be the hardware that has gone bad. Also things that record or overlay onto the screen can cause problems (MSI Afterburner, RivaTuner, F.lux, TeamViewer, etc.). Asus AI Suite and Sonic Suite are two programs known to cause issues. It could be a conflicting service on your computer. It could be a USB driver issue, in which case you could update USB drivers (or sometimes downgrading to Microsoft default drivers helps). Or, it could be a USB bandwidth issue, in which case dropping to 2 sensors could help, or unplugging unused USB devices that may still be active (like web cams for instance). In the case of USB, switching ports (preferably to USB 2.0) for either the headset or the senors can help. This could be for a variety of reasons, most commonly USB connection problems or bad hardware. However, in the past, this would happen when there are lost IMU samples. ![]() I didn't see anything that was obviously the problem. ![]()
